City fan suffers broken leg after being attacked at Leeds game

The staff had no idea this would happen, though we all did....
No shit, the first member of staff on the scene to intervene was a chef from behind the bat area.

If confirmed he wants to sue the fuck out of the club.

Firstly best wishes to him for a speedy and full recovery. If he wants to, there should be something set up to allow fans to chip in for his legal costs because the only way the club are going to do anything is if there is a big bastard spotlight shone on their behaviour and it's impact. They don't care about us but they do care about reputational damage to their 'brand'. There should also be some sort of protest in the ground too. It's pathetic that it's got to the point that City fans need to resort to this but we know otherwise we'll be ignored.

I imagine for the club to be liable you have to show they have a duty of care, that it's been breached and that there's been material damage as a consequence. Hard to see how that's not the case here.

You'd like to think that at the point where their own fanbase crowdfunds an injured fan to take legal action against them they'd be shamed into sorting it out but somehow I doubt it.

I’ll drop David Pannick an email, ask him if he could do it as a foreigner

I was stood about 20M from this incident.
Table's & chair went flying. An old bloke was on the floor getting hit. There were 2 or 3 other scuffles right away. A much younger guy with long hair joined in and hit a couple of the old lads (and I think he was out of order given the age disparity).
It was all over in 30 seconds & no one near me had any clue who was who or that any Leeds were involved??
The two people with bloodied faces seemed OK ish to me after. Fuck knows how anyone had broken legs from what I saw

I don't know how officious he was being in your case but don't we want the stewards to be doing that?

When I was walking into N2 for the Liverpool game it took a city fan on the other side of the railing to call out someone wearing a Liverpool top under his jacket while they were running the metal detector over them
Saw that, if the same guy.

I also saw he got in and sat with his mate later, his mate was City.

Khaldoon decides policy. Soriano's job is to increase revenue with respect to nothing. Khaldoon's job as his boss is to listen to all his executives and decide the correct decision taking a more holistic and long term view.

If Soriano comes up with something and Khaldoon disagrees then it doesn't get done. Every single policy decision at the club is Khaldoon, people are just too cowardly to point the finger at him and Soriano is an easy target
Khaldoon is chairman of the CFG board and de facto chairman of MCFC
Soriano is CEO of CFG and de facto CEO of MCFC

Soriano runs the club with the executive team Khaldoon will not have time to be involved, he has far bigger enterprises and responsibilities than MCFC to be concerned with Yeah, he will be aware of the bigger picture but, will not get involved with details That’s why the action on ticket prices only got action when it become visible at the matches Yeah he obviously has a veto along with the board but this in the main will be based on information he’s given by the executive team

In 2017 Khaldoon made a point at a board meeting that he felt ordinary fans had suffered enough price rises. Soriano has been raising prices since.
