City fan suffers broken leg after being attacked at Leeds game

Hope the lad involved is OK. Not going to call for Danny Wilsons head until the facts come out though and not sure what input he has on stewarding policy anyway.
It's not stewarding policy, it's ticketing. Wouldnt need stewards anywhere near there if the official partner ticket sites didnt sell to anyone who pays up.

This has been going on for years.

A video was going around again this week of a scouser getting battered in the South Stand in the 1-1 where Alexander Arnold scored.

They need to get it sorted before a disaster happens

They will be corporate company season tickets. My company have them at Arsenal and generally they get picked up by whoever supports the team Arsenal are playing against. It’s not right

The press are told not to report anything or they lose reporting rights

That’s why they have been scared off reporting the North Stand turmoil

@wearethesouthstand, you need to open up your socials so that people can share stuff, if the Manchester Evening News is not doing articles. The more people who share it, the more chance of it going viral and causing issues for the executives.

Are there photos of the incident

if it got mentioned by the OS and the bbc then it (in that area) was clearly a big enough thing…coupled with all the rest people are saying… surely some media outlet can make a story
Oh they’ll make a story alright
….

“Greedy oil rich Arab owners sell tickets to away fans to boost profits even further as apathetic entitled home fans stay away in their droves angered by City’s failure to win a 5th straight title”

Something along those lines

Legends lounge they were all over. Same against Liverpool. Stewards do nothing as it's hospitality.

Someone has to take responsibility for the farcical situation where the club actually allows touts to sell tickets in any home section to visiting fans, particularly fans of clubs with a reputation for causing trouble at games.

Danny Wilson hasn't been doing a good job for years. Too busy glad-handing with Soriano.
Our ticketing partners sell them to anyone. Think you just have to tick a box saying you support city!

It's Khaldoon's fault, not Sorianos. But people like his interviews so aren't willing to call him out in case the Sheikh leaves.
I understand your point but for me Khaldoon isn’t in the wrong. As Chairman he’s correctly identified the need to raise match day revenues. He's delegated responsibility to doing so to Soriano and can reasonably expect a man of his calibre to be able to see that merely selling tickets to the highest bidder creates problems in other areas and to deal with those problems when they first arise before the situation turns into the shitshow it is now

We said time and time again this was going to happen, it was only a matter of time, but they’d rather have any **** who is prepared to pay extra than real Blues in the ground.

You’re right OP, it’s an absolute disgrace
Some dick on here questioned what was up with me when I mentioned this ticketing debacle yesterday on another thread. At least 8 empty seats next to me at start of game today.unfortunately both sons unable to attend due to work / family issues. I would have usually took somebody in their place but this has been more or less negated with city’s new season card policy. Put on exchange in last few days but obviously unlikely to sell and even if did more likely to go to unvented fans than the ones I would have taken .greedy and seemingly more risky but that’s the new city for you

These lot are Tunnel Club. Basically the club will sell to anyone if you're interested in paying £600 per person for a ticket.

If it had kicked off there I guarantee City fans would have gotten the blame.

Feel happy in the knowledge that those cunts have to go back to Yorkshire though. No one deserves that
