Why did you have to be there? If they did steal (as many have said along with the police charging them for it), then what mitigating factors can there be to justify it?

There are none. Yes I made mistakes as a nipper and was punished when I did.

If I had stolen alone or as part of a group, then I would expect people to call me a scrote also.

Please explain how it can be called "moralising" to call theives scrotes? They may grow up to be decent fellas but at present they are not and no amount of "singing at games" will change that.

I was at work when the local paper appeared across my desk ref the 'shop raid' LOL and thought it may not have been in the Manc papers yet, had no idea we were going to end up with this, but never laughed so much on here with some of the posts.
