City fans getting slaughtered on reddit for leaving Cutting Room Square a mess

It looks terrible in fairness. Would it not be fairly obvious that this would happen though with a home game on to win the league. Bit of advance thinking and recycling points could’ve been set up in spots expected to draw a crowd.

All the bars around AS must have made a fucking fortune on Sunday. I bet Sacha Lord isn’t complaining once again about the bars in the city centre struggling to make money and struggling to stay open. The same with the bars at New Islington Marina.
Come on, this probably happens a couple of times a year, out of order, you are talking shite, but you have form don't you...

There is litter all over Manchester Centre every weekend as the bins are overflowing and not emptied. If you took all this overflowing trash and put it together it wouldn't be far behind the Square. Because it's all in one place it looks bad. Anyone who has been to Euro aways in Madrid and Barcelona for example and been in the Squares there will have noticed that they have refuse collectors on standby and the Bars and Restaurants in these Squares help with clearing the litter.

So true this!

It's as though the pubs/bars in the city centre either close, or don't plan at all for it.

So glad we went in Mary D's, then the Waldorf after. A great time in both, with quick serving times, and plenty of beer and songs!
