City Fans Leaving Early/Empty seats

Really don’t get the influx of early leavers especially on a Sat afternoon. I know there is valid reasons for some but it comes across as complacency to me. I’ve only left early on a handful of occasions in my 35 years watching City and that is due to work commitments . Each to their own but I just don’t get it.
I’m one of the annoying b**yards though who leaves for a pint on 35 mins . It’s always been a routine to have a pint at half time . If you don’t leave early you won’t get a beer simple as that . I go down early in Block 111 and go halfway down the East Stand and watch the remainder of the half through one of the entrances . So I’ll miss 2 mins whilst getting a beer .

Any fan who's a regular early leaver for no other reason than to get home earlier ( within a 30 mile radius) needs to have a good look at himself if he's accusing players of not giving 100%

Fair point about the players.

Don't think the radius is a reason either though. Unless somebody has a train to catch and they've fell unkindly on that day of course. I travel from a lot further away than 30 miles and have never left early. Just a hunch, but I imagine those coming from further afield sacrifice that much of their day they're more inclined to stay for the full 90 minutes.

Strange behaviour to get in to and seems to be contagious.

There seems to be a lot of people who get very easily embarrassed on this forum.

Wait until you’re old enough to start trying to impress girls. You’ll find out the meaning of embarrassment then.

Unless that was just me?

Crikey. Not more reasons. Haha.

'PEP OUT!!'

Really is arduous sitting and watching the best club side in the world for the full 90 minutes.
I remember the Pearce era and you were literally watching the game through your fingers as you know if the opposition scored you were fucked, now you can watch it with a cigar and a fine whisky and still people leave early ? As Pep said IN-CRED-IBLE

Come on mate, we did get about 8 league goals at home that season...... may have scraped a draw.

Maybe stewards with cattle prods on the aisles blocking exits is the answer.....

Each to his own eh...

Having said all that, weeknight matches completely go against the weekend plan, so I might just have to leave maybe 5 mins from the end as that does make a big difference. Its the difference between getting home at maybe 1am rather than 2am, and with a 7am start at work needs must.

Apologies if anyone is offended by that.
Oh some people are offended by that. The Super Fan(s) on here now have you down as a ‘fan’ and not a ‘supporter’. They know best and their opinion is the only one that matters. I know. They have told me.
