Well all you have to do is phone up and put your ticket as a re-sell. We could also say that you get 3 chances throughout the season for special circumstances.
It's not a case of getting punished for not attending, it's being punished for not attending and not adding your ticket to the exchange system.
You have to apply common sense and if someone gets seriously ill or has an accident then obviously the club can deal with that on a case by case basis.
My younger Brother was a life long city fan, who got taken under the wing Of a very special person so was lucky enough to go home and away from the age of 10 and put a 12 year unbroken run together including Europe befoure he took ill at the age of 36.
He was in and out of hospital for two years and had to miss a few games, I would spring him from his hospital bed a few time saying we was going for a walk and fresh air, take him to th game then I'd return him after the game to get a bollocking from the nurses.
Some days we would be set to go at 11am but come 1pm he wasn't in a fit state to go.
The last two years of his life city was his only pleasure when he could get there..
if what you proposed was to be in place then we both would have had our ticket revoked the 1st year for missing a few games at the last minute and I'm sure that we wouldn't have had the last 18 month with him as his only love would have been taken away...
People need to realise that everyone has there reasons for not getting there or leaving early which to me more then outweighes what some rag that dose t even go to games might say to hurt your feelings or what some hacks write in rags that you wouldn't wipe your arse on..
if a few empty seats if all we have to worry about I'll have that all day long, God forbid th meltdown if we had empty seats and early leavers without the world superstars we have the pleasure of watching
