Will you ever come home? No, never. although I heard they are making 3000 bobbies redundant, it's good to hear the war on crime has been won........

What's the best thing about being a city fan a long way from home? You can watch the game without getting caught up in the hype and histeria, you can see how close Mancini is to getting it right.
2nd best has been helping a lifelong rag who has never visited OT get tickets for the game. I've given him $20 in with an envelope addressed Canal Street Manchester and a note in it saying show him a good time. I've told him to give it hand it to the fella with the moustache who looks like Merv Hughes, he flies out tomorrow.

you ain't missing anything in alty mate, like a ghost town thesedays!

personally i could never move from england i tried working in gran caneria for the summer few years back but came home after few weeks there homesick haha what a joke!

anyway my uncle tommy moved from altrincham to tenerife about 6 years ago, loves it and would never come back. when we went over to visit him i gave him a 'THIS IS OUR CITY' car sticker which sits nicely on the back windsceen of his car.

I come back every 2 years to catch up with family and friends. Usually make it to 2 or 3 games, we always win even back when we were shit, hence the user name. Unlikely to ever move back permanently

What's the best thing about being a city fan a long way from home?
TBH I'd rather be at home on matchdays, it's just not the same watching on TV in the middle of the night

Born Ashton-under-Lyne raised in Dukinfield, also lived in Droylsden for a while. Season ticket for a number of years. Hard to leave my family and hard to leave City but you've got to do what you've got to do.
Why did you emigrate?
Kept getting redundant, disillusioned with the UK mainly because of that.
Where did you go to live?
Australia
How long ago did you leave the UK?
How many blues live near you now?
Along with my son, my two brother-in-laws, a lad originally from Gloucester who somehow has supported the Blues for 40 plus years and a Aussie lad who visited Eastlands a few years ago for the first time to realise a life-long ambition.
Do you miss being in the UK?
No. I miss the people. I don't miss the country.
Will you ever come home?
Yes for a holiday. Recently over for the Liverpool game and went to Sunderland away.

There's no best thing. You can't beat watching a game live. I really miss match day. I used to travel everywhere watching the blues, mainly in the early 80s.

ITS A FINE TIME TO BE SUPPORTING CITY NOW, LOTS OF EXPOSURE IN THE MEDIA AND MORE PEOPLE ARE KNOWING WHO WE ARE RATHER THAN WALKING AWAY SHAKING THEIR HEADS IN PUZZLEMENT. WATCHING THE GAME IS QUALITY HERE, I CAN SIT IN MY LOCAL AND WATCH ALL THE LEAGUE GAMES BEING PLAYED AT THE SAME TIME AND ALSO WE ARE 2 HOURS IN FRONT SO K.O. IS USUALLY 5 OR 6 O'CLOCK, WATCH THE FOOTY WHILE HAVING SOME FOOD, THEN STAY IN THE PUB ALL NIGHT!

2) Meeting rags from Milton Keynes or County Claire and asking them where they're from.
Follow up question - is that going out towards Wigan?

This is pretty much me also.

Im up in Brottby in vallentuna but soon moving to the south of stockholm.
