The photo just about proves it at true because these fans aren't blues and some are looking up at our lot.

Well, it might not be the brightest of ideas to throw it at home fans. Though, it seems like a few smoke bombs were off in the City end and who knows, maybe one of these perhaps unfortunately fell.

However it's good to see a little smoke and color at the gronds City are playing in. At least it's better then just standing up with your arm crossed singing a song for ten sec and then shut up for twenty minutes or until your team score.

A fan blinded is worth it?

I was sat directly behind the 3 scroats who chucked the smoke bomb down on the geordie fans below.
Letting them off in our end is one thing, but this was out of order.
After a few verbals I told them that they would be the next thing to be thrown off the upper tier, at which point they shut up and behaved.
This sort of crap does our club no favours.

In the face I would guess it would do harm - no smoke without fire and that.

Has anyone ever actually been blinded at a football match?

Serious question.

Out of order throwing that down onto the Newcastle fans, whether it is a smoke bomb or a ball of feathers, shit like this will mean reduced allocations, heavier security measures and that is just coming from a selfish point, what kind of moron throws stuff at other people?

Some blues need to grow up.

Sad to say a few real young knobheads sat near me today , guess about 18 or 19 , spent most of the game trying to stick stickers and drop crap on the heads of all the City fans sitting in the rows in front of them . Also witnessed plastic bottles and such being launched from the back of the stand and hitting other City fans , one guy a couple of rows in front of me got hit at least twice , he was f--king fuming and rightly so .
As the game ended one of the guys then proceeded to stand on and break one of the seats , really clever .
Point is , with all the recent bad publicity , we don't need dicks like this otherwise we will all eventually suffer , but to be taking the piss and doing this to other City fans is a real joke .
Good chance that some of these guys are posters on here , if so , grow up wankers .

Was quite a lot of tourist types in our end but I was surprised by the amount of people willing to sing.

The arrangements outside for away fans entry into the ground was a shambles.

What's a tourist type fan?

People who didn't seem to be regular matchgoers. Corporate tickets, youth football groups, Korean paparazzi.....

My post you quoted was made weeks ago in relation to Chelsea away.

Ahh I see. I thought you meant someone like myself that wasn't born or lives in Manchester.
