City fans today

Let's just say the Newcy fans who got the smoke bomb thrown on them didn't go away with an ehanced view of our supporters.

And some people want away fans at the Etihad in an area above City fans so they can throw things at us.

Was quite a lot of tourist types in our end but I was surprised by the amount of people willing to sing.

The arrangements outside for away fans entry into the ground was a shambles.

What's a tourist type fan?

People who didn't seem to be regular matchgoers. Corporate tickets, youth football groups, Korean paparazzi.....

My post you quoted was made weeks ago in relation to Chelsea away.

Ahh I see. I thought you meant someone like myself that wasn't born or lives in Manchester.

Bring back standing terraces then all the knuckle draggers can jump on each other in their own little "special" corner. The bloke with the little lad paid good money to watch City not be intimidated by idiots. And congrats to the City fans on bringing smoke bombs a week after those disgraceful scenes of coin throwing.

Massive over reaction here...was quality today nice to see a couple of blue smoke bombs going off.. No one got hurt... People offering people out out outside after the game..how's that going to help

Few muted fans near me (Top left looking at the pitch) They just didn't move or anything apart from when we scored all 3 goals. I was doing the Toure dance after the 3rd goal, Not one person joined in the dance. They all just stood still clapping
Maybe they don't dance.
And if they can't dance then they're no friends of mine?

If the fans don't dance and if they don't then they're no friends of mine.

Bloody hell, do your ears pop up there?

It's high mate, Bluebird counted the steps one year and I think it's about 120-130 up to around 4/5 rows from the back.
still not as many steps as Ajax

Did you go to Villarreal? We had to get a pissed up 59 year old up them, don't know how we managed it. We didn't manage to stop him hitting the deck on the terrace though, a few split heads that night there was!

I love the atmosphere at away games, thankfully I don't travel with idiots that throw any type of missile into a crowd......(or at camel gob) I'm sure people have looked at me and my mates all pissed up, having a laugh and maybe being a bit loud and thought we were twats, and yet we would never do anything to tarnish the clubs reputation, ever.

What would drive somebody to throw something into a crowd of people who support a club we don't give a shite about after we have won, never mind suffered a defear. Not that I would condone it if it were rags, though it would be more comprehensible considering the hatred.

top day all round,

smoke bombs do look good brings a bit flare to our support,

dont condone lobbing in other ends but if remember right them geordie bastards lobbed an air bomb into 111 last season, so lets just say its 1-1

thought the catering was spot on yesterday, managed to get a bottle and a pie at half time easily, why city dont get local staff who understand english and the metal seperators is beyond me, it works,

support was brilliant apart from maybe 15 mins in 2nd half but that due to city not waking up till 70 mins,

good day, good result,

apart from getting back to a parking ticket, £70, geordie bastards..

Thought Blues support on the whole was fantastic yesterday but I did witness these lowlife scum that have attached themselves to us. Absolutely bladdered and being a right pain in the arse, falling onto my 15 yr old Daughter on more than one occasion. His mates thought it was hilarious till my mate had a word about the merits of Newcastle General A&E. Bad news when Blues are getting it on with each other but as I say, on the whole the support was fantastic. Onwards and upwards to May boys & girls!!
