Is the new champions league money end of this season / next like the premier league or the following season ? Which accounting year ? And how much ?

It kicked inthis year and presume it will be in 15/16 accounts.

So far for getting to the QF and with 4 wins in the group we have 29.5M Euros.

Then there is our share of the Market Pool for the 4 English Clubs which will take into account the new BT deal. I'm estimating this will be 140M Euros (PB thinks 120M) but know one knows for sure yet. Using the 140Mil figure, 50% of it is split between the 4 teams based on finishing position in the PL last season. We were 2nd and get 30% - so that would be 21M.

The other 50% is split based on the number of games the 4 teams have played in the group stages and knock out. At the moment that is United 6, Chelsea 8, Arsenal 8 and, after Tuesday, City 10. So we get a further 21.87M based on 10/32 of 70Mil

So potential total so far is 29.5M + 21. 5M + 21.87M = Total 72.87M EUROS. You have to remember gate revenue as well.

Now, if we get through to the SF we pick up an additional 7Mil and a further 10.5Mil for reaching the final and another 4.5Mil for winning it. Our share from the Market Pool will increase as well due playing another 3 games.

So how much extra is it then ?

So how much extra is it then ?

Last year the totals were:
€45.85M - City
€39.23M - Chelsea
€36.78M - Arsenal
€33.60M - Liverpool

This year if we get knocked out on Tuesday and using PBs estimate of €120M for the Market Pool (it was €93.56M last year) we are looking at:
€66.25M - City
€63.00M - Chelsea
€49.00M - Arsenal
€35.75M - United
So we are over €20M up on last year as it stands and more than €30M more than United this season. I'm hoping the Market Pool figure will be higher still. If it was €140M we would directly benefit by c€6M more.

IF we beat PSG and, say, Wolfsburg in the Semi and then get beaten in the final and again using PBs estimate of €120M for the Market Pool we are looking at:
€87.29M - City
€61.71M - Chelsea
€47.71M - Arsenal
€34.79M - United

Financial Fair Play we know was a barrier to entry to prevent new money sharing the cartel that football´s prizes generated.

When our owner defied the skewed FFP rules he demonstrated that new money combined with a decent business plan generates its own money and is self sustaining like any other sector of industry or business.

Time has also shown that being a member of that elite that devised the rules is no guarantee of continued Financial success as the Milan clubs have discovered requiring the very same injection of new money that the rules were designed to prevent facilitated by a rather convenient relaxation of FFP.

Profits are now being generated for our owner. Will these profits, together with profits from many other business dealings Sheikh M. makes still be considered as oil money rather than investment profits ?

If we get third and get to the final of the champions league does that mean we can spend some more over the summer?

Don't know if this is the right thread to ask this question but I haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere, so here goes.

When the semi draw was made, UEFA announced that the first leg was to be played at 'The City of Manchester Stadium' rather than The Etihad as sponsorships were dirty (my words, not theirs) and could not be mentioned. Now I don't know if his would cost City or any sponsors their money and probably not, but my question is that whenever Arsenal are involved in European draws, what name of stadium is used as I have only ever known it as The Emirates?

Ashburton Grove I assume?
