City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

Now, Tebas has hit back at Guardiola’s comments by once again criticising his understanding of how football was funded and the long-term negative impacts.

The league chief said: “Pep, I learn from the Premier League every day. It would be good if they teach you a little about football macroeconomics, about the impacts of state clubs on wage inflation, demographics, the impact of pay TV, China…and of the acquittal in CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sports) we will have news.”

Are they getting rid of CAS or are they going back to FFP case. Didn't City weigh up legal action to shut him up after the case?

What news is that Javier?

I thought he'd shut the fuck up after he got that gig at UEFA - after all, Ceferin said in an interview a couple of years ago that he talks way too much - but it seems he can say whatever he wants and never be held accountable for it.

CAS are independent and are regarded as the ultimate regulators over legal matters in all sports. I found it strange they didn't sue him over his last comments about them, he certainly can't 'get rid of them'.

Which worries me when he says 'they will have news' as in the original FFP case or something else?

Charles Flint QC?

The same guy who is a director of the Dubai Financial Services Authority :)

An award pronounced by the CAS is final and binding on the parties from the moment it is communicated.
Yes, I think that the teabag is referring to his attempts to get CAS removed as the final arbiter of EUFA disputes. If the ref makes decisions you dont like, get him changed.
