Net was circa £40 m this summer & circa £75m 20/21. How have they got to £250m net spend??

We are in a unique and fortunate position, Roman at Chelsea has put fortunes into the club, but as loans and IF he sells he would probably want those loans repaying in full.

Most likely the fumes from the swampI'm not sure how meaningful "overtaking Utd" actually is ... because it covers a time when they didn't have 75000 Irish / Welsh / tourists / Londonders in their stadium every other week.
But even if our turnovers are only similar, it raises the question again of why they are constantly moaning about not being able to compete with us.
Fact is, they can (and do) spend every bit as much as us ... they just keep finding people like Sanchez, Pogba, Schweinsteiger, Depay, etc, etc who seem to give up on football as soon as they arrive. Even someone with the self confidence & drive of Ronaldo seems a bit out of sorts now he's wearing their shirt ? It's weird, but great for us City fans to see !
