Also: any FFP fines will not count as part of losses for future FFP calculations, so can be paid directly by owners.
Hardly the point though. Let's go to war.
Only club I can think of that comes close is Porto with regards to community spending, could be others though.markyboyblue said:It is not as if all our money goes on football spending. We must be up there in the list of football clubs for spending in the local community and improving the local area. Really don't see why UEFA should get this money and how they will spend it.

1. £50m is not beer money, I don't care who you are. You could save a lot of lives in Africa with £50m and having it extorted out of you is not "OK" just because you can afford it. It's morally unacceptable.
2. The proposed squad restrictions and salary cap would seriously damage our chance of progress in the CL in future seasons.
3. It must mean that they have refused to accept our valuation on certain transactions. This does not only impact this year. It means we will miss again next year unless we cut our planned spending, which clearly we do not accept we must do.
First step in the process is a simple statement from us informing UEFA that we will not be paying the fine and not accepting the squad restrictions. Over to you...

Brilliant so owners aren`t allowed to invest 60 million in their own business and football unless of course the give 60 million to UEFA first.
