Hear Manchester City and UEFA could be much closer to an agreement on ffp than has been portrayed #mcfc

pmsl.

Just shows it's all utter guesswork.

Personally I don't want a compromise to be reached, I want us to go to war.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

No announcements till Monday, fuck ffp, biggest match of the season on Sunday, Premier League title up for grabs, lets all just get in the mood for the match and enjoy the nerves and excitement over the weekend eh?

The PA have distributed a story saying no agreement was reached and City have until Monday to accept or reject the sanctions. So much for UEFA backing down as speculated (hoped) in this thread.

They wont back down they are goading us to go to appeal they cant lose - go to appeal and risk getting banned or take the current fine and admit guilt

Its bollocks we cant win

Fucked over royally

Hardly mate, who really gives a fuck?

Let's just win the league on Sunday and then roll with it.

Chumps League is a load of bollocks anyway. I want us to fight this shit as, more than anything, they've pissed off Sheikh Mansour.

Aye Sunday must be the focus but i do think it is a big big deal for us all not just the fine but the potential squad restrictions which means potental players coming in will want assurances that they will make the CL squad

But yup deal with it on Monday but winds me up because believe it or not as the mrs will back me up i love this fucking club

Re: City & FFP (continued)

All claims and counter claims but no official quotes...

IMO these are press leaks from UEFA trying to flush out a response.

The deadly silence from City is scaring the shit out of them ;)

Squad restrictions won't be too much of a problem in my opinion. How many players did we even use in Europe last year? I'd be surprised if it was more than 20. And we can just assure players who miss out on the squad they will get more domestic games as a result e.g. say we have to leave out Jovetic then we can just guarantee him that he will start every league game before or after a European game.

Pretty much where I am on this. I want city to take them on since once we reach any form of agreement with them it's an acknowledgement of the legitimacy of ffp and gives them free reign to change the rules again next year as they see fit.
