Chelsea have been doing some immense negotiating with transfers. If they got Bony for 25m they could sell him for 35m in the summer.

When we will sell him thats gonna be for 11.5m maybe.

Or they get very similar type of player like Bony for 10m only.

Like the Zouma vs Mangala decision. 3 times cheaper, 3 years younger but similar potentials imo.

I think selling a player while he's 'good' is key. It sounds a bit strange, but as long as you're selling to bring in an even better player, it's ok.
Juan Mata was a good example, Chelsea's player of the year (twice) and they sold him. It's not always about selling the weakest links, but selling some of the stronger ones too, but only for even stronger ones.

Nigel De Jong was an example of a player still highly regarded when leaving City, we need a few more like that! I've avoided Negredo, as that was simply a very strange situation all round, and not typical.

Very true but I dont trust Tiki that he can do that. Sell a good player to bring in an even better one. He did Garcia vs. Fernando type of upgrades here mostly. Not much of an upgrade is it?
Or Negredo vs Bony. There isnt much between an in form Negredo vs in form Bony or Negredo a bit better maybe if anything.

Been sharing the same thoughts with my son too...

Nigel De Jong.... have we improved on him? not really
Jolean Lescott.... any further on? not really
Craig Bellamy.... any further on? not really
Adam Johnson.... any further on? not really
Carlos Tevez.... any further on? a bit (far better attitude striker, and MAYBE slightly better player, but not by that much, but Aguero gets injuries too)
Wayne Bridge.... any further on? yes, but hardly by leaps and bounds

We simply haven't haven't improved all that much in 3 years, whilst other players have aged.

Because PSG beat Barca last night and PSG are in the same boat as us will it affect City`s argument if they got to the semi final or even win it?

Bellamy. Bridge. Combined medal haul: sweet fuck all. Both epitomised the Hughes' era - we're beyond that. Two league titles, an FA and League Cup beyond it. I'd have Tevez back in a heartbeat though.

Doubt it, Txiki Out.

For fucks sake

Not really sure why you're shouting this down as it's 100% valid.

Despite 3-4 windows Txiki has not strengthen the first team compared to the team built under Mancini. In fact you could agree it's worse.

Chelsea during that period have added Zouma, Costa Fabregas and Matic. At least 3 of those players would make our first team.

Errr...
I thought that Neymar and Suarez (the goal scorers) played for Barcelona - when were they sold to PSG?

Don't forget Courtois. (I know it was a loan but they had Matic before also.) They replaced a very good keeper with an even better one.
