... not for a day.

I found comfort in this mantra yesterday, so come on Blues - cheer up!

You're in this for life, whether you like it or not.

There will be worse days than yesterday for sure, and there certainly have been in the last 28 years that I've been going to City. But there will be better days too - days where we win cups, beat top European sides, smash United (again) and win titles!!!

But City fans will stick with the team whatever happens, they have shown that over the years.

So let's enjoy the rest of the season - we might even get to see some more of the amazing quality football that we know the team is capable of.

But we are in this for life - so chins up!

No real blue will abandon the club. I don't think fans are that annoyed at throwing it away more the manner.

Correct I've been going since88 and won't stop. I love city no matterwhat,we could playing Napoli in the champs lge or Grimsby away on a cold weds night ill always be there and support city forever more CITY TILL I DIE.

i said i`d leave this to the end of the season. the end of our season was when the final whistle went yesterday.

as you can gather i`m not in a good place at the moment, the way we have capitulated and played shite since blackburn at home i`m in disbelief. i`m not overly confident we`ll get another point if i`m honest. the final straw is having to watch us get a lesson off the rags i hope i`m wrong but i think not. there needs to be answers and fast.

but regardless i`ll be at every match home and away.

FFS blues, get a grip.

We are still on course for our best season in the league for 35 bloody years, our best ever in the premier league era. We are in next years champions league. We have played the best football ever witnessed at our new home. And yet on here there is little but doom and gloom.

Of course we are hurting because the league was so close and is now slipping away. Of course the bile from the media is galling. Of course the Tevez situation has pissed us all off. Of course we are fucked off about the refereeing decisions that have made it possible for the rags to keep hold of the title.

But remember this: the rags are hanging on by their fingertips. They look like they are clinging on for another season. But our time is coming. This season may be ending in a disappointing way, but it is still our best season in living memory.

It's hardly a disaster.

I've been reading Bluemoon from the start but never bothered to reply before, in fact I only joined when I realised that it cuts out the adverts. I'm in my 60's, have my breakfast in a City bowl or egg cup, wear "lucky socks" and a sky blue vest/T-shirt on matchdays. My grand-daughters think I'm daft but their dad says "it's grandads team, he's been with them for 40 odd years" and I hope to be for a long time yet. Keep the faith.
