I just watched the replay.... and wow that was fcuking awesome!! First of all I didnt think more than 2 regular starters would play for either team but excluding a small handful of players that was each teams best XI. I know it was just a freidnly against a keeper who recently sprouted his first pube and a team which we always play our best football (wish we could play em every week), but I cannot remember the last time I saw City play so confident and free flowing in their attack. Allowed some sloppy goals though. I know the match doesn't mean a damn thing, but you never know we may have found our good luck charm with those ugly ass jerseys.

If we come back and win 3-2 I predict half of the crowd will be wearing sky blue tomorrow. :)

Don't know whether it has been posted already, but a good interview with Kiddo after the game: credit to Chelsea for making it a spectacle; Kiddo and Vieira weren't sure about how to approach the game so asked Txiki Begiristain, who said play the young lads - this is the new philosophy!; and the players had only done one training session (not overtrained!)

MCFC site very unhelpful. Chelsea site very helpful (got the St Louis match highlights up already for instance) and free to watch the game if you register.

Chelsea v Manchester City - Saturday 25 May, Yankee Stadium, New York, kick-off 5.30pm (BST 25 May 10.30pm)

oh micah,you're so fine,
you scored a goal in added time,
hey micah.hey micah!!!

micah has come on leaps and bounds since the wigan game,he looked so awkward when he was running that i thought it would be ages before he would be back to normal.

its on espn about 11pm

Thanks.I`ll have to record it then.Sorry but my night with the lads is Friday, with copious amounts of the black stuff being thrown down me neck.

Apologies for being annoying guys however I need to shoot off, don't have time to trawl the thread. How did we do? More so the second half as I'm guessing we were awful in the first?

nope we were good in the first half, just unlucky with the goals, was a good game really enjoyable.
