Not sure why it would mean the end of AJ really, has anyone seen our bench when we have a couple of attacking players out suspended or injured? It's full of defenders.

It would though, be up to AJ to accept that he's just not going to be an automatic, first choice starter, probably ever.

Me too coz I'm getting worried by how easily Nani and Valencia get past their full backs to create scoring opportunities for the Rags and they still have Ashley Young in reserve, three quality wingers compared to our single one.

His contract is up in the summer. Should be cheap and also wages shouldn't be much coming from Blackburn as a squad player to us. Pity he's not english for squad reasons.

Can't see him being a regular starter but plenty of sub appearances and he's young enough (21) to get better.

Wouldn't be upset with this signing.
