'Donkey Common'.. Off Ashton Old Road.. Nansen Street Juniors used to play on it, officially called 'David Lewis Recreation Ground'.. Nansen Street, unless there's more than one 'Donkey Common' ??

Did this walk today before trip to souvenir shop. Well worth trip if you are interested in the history of the club. Have to use your imagination but nice to know where it all started.

Is it possible to obtain/print out an ariel map of the time (early 1900s) and overlay it onto a print from Google Earth/Maps. You may have to re-size the Google Map to match the old map. And there you have the EXACT location of everything.
