He'll be considered as one of the top 10 midfielders in the world in a 2-3 years. He is the complete package - technique, pace, work rate, intelligence, eye for goal etc. He needs to play in the middle though. He's half the player on the wing.

well , I dont rate marchisio too much , but in that list he is surely not the last....

and we should think to a fact , mancini is building a dominant team for the present AND the future , can you see a future done by the likes of vieirà , barry , swp ? marchisio is 24....

Sources at Sky Italia? This is the media outlet that claimed Balotelli would sign within hours and then days and then minutes and then weeks and hours and then seconds god knows how many times in that saga.

I don't know about this Marchisio player, to be honest I hope Bobby just closes the chequebook now. I think we have a great group of players who know each other fairly well contrary to belief. The English players know each other, Nige, Vinny and Boateng know each other very well from their days at Hamburg and Kolo and Yaya know each other.

Any new arrivals would be pointless if you ask me.

i dont agree ! were building a quality squad and if mancini thinks he needs somebody he will sign him it wont matter one iota if they dont know each other quality players can play with anybody and why wait were trying to fastrack a team for champions league the sooner he gets the team he wants the quicker we can watch them gel together.

I look at this team and as most media outlets agree we have the squad with the most strength in depth. We don't need more players, the wage bill is high and if anything it needs reducing, whilst having more players means training becomes difficult for the training staff.

I am assuming the Johnson you refer is AJ. I also feel that MJ will have a role to play in this squad so no need for another midfielder.

dont forget the 25 man per squad rule. if one enter one go. and in the actual 25 there are many the arent good enough for where City want go.
