Why would any youngster realistically want to go to Spurs?
They have stalled the careers of many a promising youngster, and have a ridiculous number of squad players who complain of not getting enough games...not really the best environment to develop...City on the other hand, good track record of bringing through youngsters, club on the up, he will get more money, our youth set-up is better so he'd be playing with better players, and training with some of the best players in the world.

If we are genuinely both in for him, it shouldn't even be close. But we'll have to wait and see if there's any truth to it

Interesting snippet at the end of this...
And asked about Man City's interest, Niang replied: "It is a dream to be linked with a team like that.

"It means I am doing well and moving in the right direction.

"I am a striker and I would learn a lot from playing with men such as Carlos Tevez, Mario Balloteli and Emmanuel Adebayor.

"But it is only a dream at the moment because nothing is done yet, as far as I know."

For upcoming kids now, we will be one of the chosen teams they want to join. Money, fame, and now the trophies have started to arrive.
