Makes me think of 3 for a pound pairs of socks in Sports Soccer and "expendable" polo shirts that you wear whilst applying gloss paint to bedroom doors or creosoting the garden fence.

Don't you get the same image for all sportswear manufacturers clothing when not worn to play sports?

Unless they are Adidas old skool trainers (or possibly Reebok Classics or NB 576s).

You're probably right.I just feel the same about Umbro as I do about rags,sun journos and spurs!

I'm unbelievably biased about scum associations - even cancelled a mobile contract with a small name provider when they got bought by VF.

For some reason I'm quite forgiving about Umbro even though I believe they have associations with Nike - I burnt the Nike cap I had when I saw the billboard next to Maine Road.

Yeah i remember these, the away kit looked brilliant, but they were pretty close, they was also some picture with the stadium behind the 3 kits!
