You’ve literally seen nothing of City’s argument.

The only story out there is a leak from a rival written by a journalist who wants to put a negative slant on City.

This is then regurgitated by other journalists who wish to put a negative spin on the club.

You’re not looking at this objectively in any way shape or form. You’ve been swayed by propaganda whether you like it or not.

It doesn’t mean City will win but if City think a new rule isnt legal they have every right to challenge it. That’s how the land of law works.

They’re not bringing down the PL or destroying all financial rules as you seem to have been swayed into believing.

Just to add that if City were successful then the rules would revert to what they were in January 2024. That’s this year! Financial regulations aren’t being destroyed in any way shape or form.

What best serves fans, the P/L and C/L competitions?

Fans want to see top, top clubs competing, of course. Attracting the best players.

And the P/L obviously benefits from viewership. Domestically and internationally. If the P/L is at a disadvantage from attracting the best players, and the best players go to some other league as a consequence, then the P/L product is less worth watching.

The C/L benefits from actual competition. Who wants to watch Real Madrid win every single title after City is relegated?

Instead, rules need to be put in place prohibiting a club going too far into debt to pay its bills. That's it. Current P/L and C/L rules having virtually nothing whatsoever to do with financial responsibility.

Personally I would have been happy had the super league gone ahead.
 
The "bringing down the PL" talk is from City fans on social media though.
It appears everyone is massively over reacting to this, both City fans and the rest.

On the City side of the story, we have nothing to go on as we never hear anything from the Club (for obvious reasons) bar the usual one or two lines annually in Khaldoon's end of season review.

By the way - I know we're using the very brilliant Paul Harris in relation to the 115. Are Monckton Chambers leading this too? If so - get extra popcorn in!
 
The media are doing a cracking job whipping up a frenzy over this.
Using words like ‘suing’ and mentioning ‘civil war’
(I guess they’ve never been in a civil war)
Also implying that this is somehow a way to get around the 115.
When from what I can tell this is simply City challenging a ‘associated party’ rule.
A rule City didn’t vote for and have apparently already told the PL that if the rule was introduced there would be a legal challenge because it’s unlawful.
The rest is just media bollocks imo.
