City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

I think the club owners should provide our own £10b interest loan to City.
Doesn't even need to be £10bn.

Mansour loans £2bn, City invest in a safe investment with a 4% return p.a. and that funds £80m of transfers every summer.

If Mansour demands it back for whatever unlikely reason, City can return it without any impact on the club's financial viability.

Everyone wins.

Not exactly, FMV will be applied to shareholder loans going forward but is not going to be applied retrospectively to the current PSR cycle, which is calculated over the past three years.

Just out of interest, have you seen it confirmed anywhere that the previous PSR assessments won't be affected?

I doubt that City will have been surprised by the vote, they know how the land lies with the other debt ridden clubs.

Not much point in attending an event when the outcome is decided in advance.

City may actually be pleased, so they, and now others, can continue to hold the PL to public scrutiny until the IC publishes its report on Its findings.

The PL and their acolytes will need to be making substantial financial provisions for legal fees....this could be a very expensive matter.

Drain the swamp City.

Making a decision before the Tribunal makes their recommendations.... Non collaborative, adversarial and arrogant. The sooner the leadership, and maybe the organisation, is brought down, the better.
Spot on.

I read the BBC report but as usual it’s very light on the facts and very heavy on the anti City tub thumping….

BREAKING NEWS.....

Sixteen English Premier League Clubs have just voted, for the second time, to adopt rules that have been found to be UNLAWFUL by an Independent Commission.

The vote was taken before the said clubs had read the ICs post hearing report which is due to be published shortly.

Khaldoon al Mubarak Chairman of Manchester City has been taken to a medical clinic with splitting sides.

No further medical updates will be made and his family and friends have requested privacy whilst he composes himself.
