City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

My view only, never, some people do not understand the magnitude of the claims, but just one part will have Sir Jim Harra KCB, hearing gossip about illegal PL procedures, coming into force that reduce his income.
City threw in multiple claims, some they may well win, some they may well lose, here`s the problem the PL can not be seen to lose any, so saying they have won A, and B, means they have lost C, D, and E. So a behind closed doors agreement is the most likely, with not even other members informed. Watch for sackings and retirements.
The other members have to be informed at least, so the chances of not even one out of 19 other clubs not opening their mouth is not happening.

I can guarantee if we’re unsuccessful it’ll be plastered all over the media and press.

No organisation will keep illegal rules in place for months unless they want to be sued left right and centre by multiple clubs and factions. They will be removed as soon as possible
Unless they take it as advice only, get alternative (and contrary) legal advice, then trump up a way to challenge the arbitration in the courts. If anyone doubts that they are capable I suggest you get a reality check

You can add Keith Wyness to the list of who will be informed I guess. He has an opinion on all things City…

All results must be considered from either side winning completely to any split in between.
City, whilst being completely confident, are keeping their powder dry in the transfer market just in case further legal action is needed.

So many variables that trusting in existing players makes financial sense.

If PL panel effectively condone their ability to control our income streams especially sponsorship we could be snookered taking on extra long term outgoing.Conversely, our potentially agreed plans for player expansions may fail if we cannot overcome some income stream constraints.

The omnipresent Mr Wyness, the font of all knowledge of life and the universe. If anyone is unsure of anything, just ask Wyness and your problem will be solved. The man has an opinion on anything and everything.

Our current income streams have already been passed and declared fair value so that wouldn't impact spending now or in the future.

It can impact City in the future, sure current deals have been assessed as fair under the RPT rules however sponsorship deals are usually for a specified number of years.

When negotiating new deals that’s when the new APT rules would kick in and as they are more onerous and wide reaching thats when it will harm City’s revenue streams.
