City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

I'm a few pages behind - so this may have already been raised

If it is the case that Everton have voted with the PL because otherwise their interest on shareholder loans made have seen them fail PSR and be subject to a further penalty................

Would it mean that Luton - who finished 4 points behind Everton and got relegated - not have a possible claim against the PL. This because if - at the time - Everton were benefitting from unlawful loans they may have been sanction by at least 4 points and they would have been relegated rather than Luton?
That's a great point. I don't know if it's possible but it looks like a solid case.

Making a decision before the Tribunal makes their recommendations.... Non collaborative, adversarial and arrogant. The sooner the leadership, and maybe the organisation, is brought down, the better.

I’m confused why the premier league needed to rush this vote through.

Vote today - Prem league get the result they want.

Vote in a few weeks - Prem league would still get the result they want.

The only difference would be if the panel give a contrary instruction on the rules.

There is no advantage to City being in this position in a few weeks so what are the premier league up to?

Are they allowing for legal challenges to deliberately delay sponsorships for City. This part makes no sense to me but I’m sure it’s a thought out strategy, just not by Masters.

I can’t think of another logical explanation for the pL to not wanting to wait a month or so for the final verdict by the IC

No surprise with todays outcome lol, what a sham .
This league is bent has fuck, run by the cartel clubs with Masters has their puppet .
Looks like they have had more secret meetings with probably incentives for the other clubs to side with them to get the vote over the line .
While City ,Newcastle ,Forest & Villa are being called the rebel clubs by some of the media.

As others have said, this vote is almost irrelevant. The only thing that really matters is the tribunal’s final deliberation. Hopefully we will get that soon.

The vote might be legally irrelevant but you only need to look at the reporting of this vote as a defeat for City to see how it’s being used in the PR battle.

Also, I think Chelsea's £1.5bn loan from Abramovich would possibly still fall within the current 3 year PSR cycle.

I don't think you are the only one confused. Common sense would say waiting for the IC's ruling on the matter was the correct thing to do. It stinks of arrogance.
