The corruption, actually, relies on that. It relies on keeping and making sure that the average viewer is kept as uninformed as possible. That is how many of those Premier League clubs are kept as well. Things are sold to them.I think he’s just trying to explain it for the average viewer they have, which seems to be about a mental intelligence age of 6. It’s too complicated for most fans who don’t want the detail, just the headline that City “lost”.
Many things are possible regarding those amendments. Perhaps they hide novel aggressive plots by the league against specific clubs. Or perhaps they are cosmetic cover ups to some kind of an existing corruption. Things like that would suggest what is going on in terms of the actual back and forth among the informed parties. I suppose it is the former, but there is almost always aspects of the latter too. It depends, and it depends on that arbitration process and on the case Man City has brought against the league. I don't know all of the details regarding such things.
