City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

To be fair, it's not "funny money". Our government gives it to Rwanda, Rwanda gives it to Arsenal. Nothing dodgy at all.

"The UK government had paid £240m to Rwanda by the end of 2023. However, the total payment will be at least £370m over five years, according to the National Audit Office.13 Jun 2024"

Like most foreign aid it finds its way back to the City of London.

Isn't it about time the final deliberation was published, surely both sides must have it by now? If so the lack of a City leak is not encouraging but balanced by the PL shill silence I suppose.
The hearing is paused whilst the legals prepare their closing part. Then there will be months whilst the panel deliberate before the verdict is published some say it may be as late as after the season finishes

Wenger was bankrolled with blood diamond money from Danny Fiszman.

Yes and no. I know what you're referring to in regards to the Tony Adams quote but if you look at their accounts from that period then it's a bit of an oversimplification

The point is Fiszman put around £50 million in when their turnover was a lot less than that say £30/35 million?
In today's terms you're talking hundreds of millions when you consider the amount clubs turn over these days.
A bit hypocritical of Wenger to bleat about "financial doping" when this money enabled them to pay big wages and buy players they wouldn't have been able to otherwise to compete for and win trophies that they did.
