Maybe the Prem clubs concerned will cite the bucketeers as an example where a written loan arrangement are just words without meaning!Possibly but can't see that any serious process would allow that just for City to make a point. I'm guessing that for it to be a "loan'" rather than "investment", you'd need a formal agreement including agreed repayments.
Auclair is French for arsehole.

I’m so glad we’re pursuing the PL because they continue to apply rules differently for different clubs.
However, it doesn’t look as if we get anything out of it unless any charges can be backdated - but doubtful as rules can’t be backdated (unless it affected us :-)
If it brings down the PL then ok but I fear it won’t affect the clubs concerned UNLIKE the 115 charges against us.
Would love some positive news relating directly to our situations but there seems to be nothing.
I don’t really care about other clubs possible (& unlikely) predicaments
Apropos of nothing he’s actually called Louis Phillipe and is a musician who was on the cult el Records.I had a back and forth with the Graun's Phillipe Auclair on that Bluesky about this. He was declaring it to be very important research in that "leading you up the garden path to call fraud without actually saying it is fraud" way that modern journos do. I pointed out that it was difficult to see where financial impropriety was proved becasue the companies used extremely common group structures, and he batted off about opacity instead....
Scratch the surface...
I disagree but there again I dont know anything about law, just life experience. And if some enterprise sets up a service or system that allows them to gain an unfair business advantage, then I would have thought that was legally claimable against by their competitors.I’m so glad we’re pursuing the PL because they continue to apply rules differently for different clubs.

And it would surely pull the rug of credibility out from under the feet of these liars and incompetents and show them up in public, for the grifters and cheats that they are, and how egregious their attacks on City really are.I disagree but there again I dont know anything about law, just life experience.
