We used to try and get into the Playhouse on Oldham Road in Newton Heath in the 60's when we were around 14 or 15, we used to walk up to the kiosk on our tip toes looking dead hard with a fag hanging out of our mouths, so times it worked and sometimes it didn't, it depended who was on the kiosk.

Not to mention the Coronation cinema in Northenden where all the best x rated horror films could be watched in the early 60s if you were a big enough 15 year old
