On top of all the protected characteristics things this policy impacts, the way it impacts shift workers makes me think they've not thought it through at all. They need to get rid of it. It's not right.

I was convinced they’d be sympathetic.But they’re not. He’s done 13 this year and the same family member with the same surname went to the rest. Never an empty seat. He probably will make 10, but he could look at the fixtures in 2 weeks time, look at his rota and tick off 10 dead certs. Or he could see that he can only make 9, and book a few half days leave. But we all know what happens then. Over half the games move. Just suppose he’d been relying on the last home game, Bournemouth, as number 10. Then it moves 3 times!
