Dear City,

With the startling news that there is an actual CSI Man City, I would like to come clean with my confession.
Last season at half time, I darted from the bogs, and there was a little bit of dribble dropped onto the urinal area floor as I turned away.
I understand this is unacceptable behaviour, but I was rushing to get in the queue for a balti pie, and you know how fast those little fellas sell out.
I would however like to submit that I did take the time wash my hands upon leaving the rest area, for you to take into consideration.
Please don't give my tickets to a tourist.

53,000 people go to games. A few hundred post on here, not all of whom attend games, and by some magic, the club know who one individual is by their handle on here, and refuse them entry into the ground on the basis of negative comments they have made.

I have received numerous questionaires from the club over the years, and I have not been, shall we say, complementary about the club regarding their attitude towards us over the last few years. They know who I am, I have not held back in my criticism, and my seasoncard has been renewed every year in the usual fashion without any warnings it may be rescinded.

Dear City, stop treating your most loyal long-term fans, who've stuck with the club through thick and thin, like shit. Stop taking us for granted! Stop putting corporate hospitality and chasing foreign tourist 'fans' ahead of us just for a little extra cash. Stop trying to police who we share our tickets with or who we sell them to at face value. Stop cancelling tickets just so you can re-sell them at inflated prices to non-fans.

Football goes around in circles. Whose going to be there to loyally support the club when that happens and you've fucked all the loyal fans off?

Just letting everyone know to watch out what they post on this forum, I swapped my ticket with a blue who was sitting in the lower tier and when he tried to scan in - the ticket wasn't working. And when I tried downloading it to my phone it would say "ticket has been canceled". We went to the ticket office and the rep showed me a screenshot of a message I'd posted on this forum a few days ago saying I was going to use my brother's ticket (which was unrelated). So they must have seen the message looked up supporters called Felix and then canceled the ticket to make me come to the ticket office on the day. The reps were absolutely no help, we ended up trying to convince them we'd swap back which we would have but they still refused to print my ticket off.

Not having a pop, but if they are checking on you why bring attention to yourself by posting a thread in here about it. A simple review of the first two pages of your posts on here says you are only a member yet you seem to be at most away games, which might cause them to wonder how/where you get your tickets. You’re not from Barcelona are you?

Wouldn't surprise me if they were. Where i work there is a team of people scouring social media for any negativity from employees about the company. Checking eBay for anything for sale that is potentially stolen. A few have lost jobs for posting videos of themselves on Facebook whilst on the sick.

Won't be happy till they have pissed enough fans off from following city again and they can sell the extra tickets as packages to tourists. Its gonna make a mockery of the extended stadium when there's 30k there gor games against the small sides and cup games. Our owners have fine wonderful things and made many city fans dreams come true. But what they are doing to the fans that stuck with the club through the bad times is a massive own goal. Been to 3 aways this season and the atmosphere has been average at best.

When you talk about our owners (who don’t even directly own the shares at City, they own the shares of the CFG and the CFG own City) - our main shareholder will have next to no involvement in the goings on at City.

While Egon Durban from Silver Lake is a member of the board, Mansour bin Zayed al Nahyan is the Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of UAE and will probably only be sporadically reported to about City. He’s got bigger fish to fry in politics and probably even other business ventures than a sports+entertainment business he has on the side in City.

That’s not to say that the shareholders aren’t important because every action the club makes is for the sole reason of ensuring the shareholders make money from their shares. Nothing else comes close in importance to the club than that; not the team, not the fans, not club employees… but the shareholders making money above and beyond all else. So they are to blame in that respect, but it’s the boardroom and directors who run the club who enact everything to make the money for the shareholders.

Even then, again, they are the boardroom and directors of the CFG. City don’t actually have a boardroom and directors who work just on City.

This ticketing fiasco is all down to the CFG board members and directors as it’s just part of the operation they have to make sure the shareholders are making money.
