No problem in one person buying 4 tickets for Bournemouth/ Dortmund though so it’s absolute double-standards bollocks this knowing who is using the ticket shit. (Not a criticism of you PB BTW).

I know. It's completely ridiculous, as I've said before.

If you go to the cinema, the theatre, a theme park, etc., there's no rule forcing the venue to know exactly who's in which seat. If you go to a concert at The Etihad, no one is demanding Ticketmaster has the contact details of everyone attending, and where they're sat.
 
If they are monitoring it's a pity that they can't be arsed sorting so many problems supporters have trying to get seating / tickets etc sorted judging by the constant threads highlighting difficulties they face in trying to support the team.

Piss poor imo.

Yes what about a plastic season ticket shaped the same size as a credit card? Maybe send it to you before each season starts in a big steel tin packed full of shite that no one wants.

I for one did want my shinny steel tin and it's contents. And miss not receiving them anymore.

And when I tried downloading it to my phone it would say "ticket has been canceled". We went to the ticket office and the rep showed me a screenshot of a message I'd posted on this forum a few days ago saying I was going to use my brother's ticket (which was unrelated). So they must have seen the message looked up supporters called Felix and then canceled the ticket to make me come to the ticket office on the day. The reps were absolutely no help, we ended up trying to convince them we'd swap back which we would have but they still refused to print my ticket off.

Lol, yet somebody who wanted to buy some tickets for the Everton game the other week were told they could only have one!

I always appreciate your input Prestwich, and you may know more about these things obviously.
It doesn't seem to be just the PL though. My much better half is a season ticket holder at Bolton and it's a similar setup as I understand it - can transfer to "friends and family" but they need to be registered (they don't charge though)

EFL rules are different to the PL's but their rules simply say tickets may not be transferred with the permission of the EFL.

4 Non-transfer of Tickets
4.1 A Ticket is issued for your sole use and you shall not resell or (save as set out in clause 4.3 below) transfer or attempt to resell or otherwise dispose of any Ticket to any other person without the prior written consent of the EFL.

I know. I was being a bit sarcastic. The tin was quite nice but I never used the scarves they used to pad in to the tin.

I do miss the plastic seasoncard and that you couid actually pass it on to a family member or mate who couldn’t afford to go.

This is a very Manchester thing to do. helping out your mates and doing the right thing. It’s in my dna.

I think the fact these were Away tickets is quite crucial, why did you leave that out of the original message.
