City now beginning to Market themselves properly

I do agree that we should look very carefully at MLB.com, as it is light years ahead of the Premier League in untapping the power of the internet to generate money for football.

However, I think the club will struggle to do this on their own. I think it will have to be a collective move from the league, but for sure City should look to lead on this. Knowing Cook et al, I am sure they will.
The only thing is, if we do it with the rest of the league we will not be able to exploit it to the same extent as if we did it by ourselves. If the rest of the league do it they all gain the same benefits [indeed teams with massive worldwide support such as United, Liverpool etc. would stand to benefit most] however if we do it by ourselves, we would ensure we gain maximum benefits and open a gulf between ourselves and the rest of the league.

This could be BIGGER than the Sky revolution. Instead of being confined to one country we would expose ourselves to a whole worldwide market ... I just hope City consider this and take the leap once the next Premier League Media contract expires.
