Why is everything City OR England?

Can't we support City during the season and then simply support England during the World Cup. Some people might not be a huge fan of International football, fair enough. But can everyone stop bitching on this forum about United players etc. They're playing for England now for fuck's sake, can't you shut the fuck up about them for 2 seconds? No wonder the rags call us obsessed.

I personally hope Rooney scores a bagful and England win the World Cup, and I'll be happy to see every single player there lifting the trophy, even the ones who play for the Rags.

In international tournaments i ALWAYS hope that England do well .... it gives most of the nation a real 'feelgood' factor ........ trouble is that , like City , they have an annoying habit of lettin' you down when you expect too much of them!

getting excited now, its england for a few weeks, but they'll let us down as always, but we have the practice for it
i think that's why rag fans hate england, they can't cope with the disappointment

i just wish the press in this country would give it a rest for once
if we win tonight they'll be banging on about winning the world cup and if we don't win they'll be saying this is the worst team in existence, there is no balance from them
