City orientated pubs Tameside

Hi. Looking to watch the match at a pub but want a City orientated pub if possible. Where best in Tameside please? Ideally Denton, Stalybridge or Ashton-under-Lyne. Thanks

I'm not in the area anymore but @hammocity sometimes runs transport from The Sycamore near Stamford Park so maybe there?

Try The Carter's Arms on Stockport Rd Denton or The Big Chapel further down

Is Clayton too far away? If not, The Halfway House (Holts) is pretty Blue. Next to Edge Lane tram stop.
