City player of the year 2012

Does his own job AND makes everyone better at their own! Yaya is only Yaya because Barry does his donkey work...same for Silva and others! I would be interested to know how many times he breaks down opposing play and how many times he is the person beginning the action going forward.

He is the battery that fuels the Energizer bunny....just keeps going and going and going!

And it would be a nod to TEAMWORK!

100% agree with this. Barry is our most under rated player. Nothing spectacular but consistantly reliable always puts a shift in. I will admit when we bought him I couldn't understand why but the more I see of him the better he is but a lot of his hardwork goes unnoticed by so many

I have no idea, there are just so many candidates. It's amazing to think how well most of our team has players over this season, even though Silva had a recent dip in form I think I'd still give it to him (partially due to man crush).

I'd go with Barry as well, not only for his invaluable contribution on the pitch, but also for his professionalism and for being a true role model to young players.

We have a points system at our club, and the team do a secret ballot after each game.

3 for best, 2, then 1. obviously whoever accrues most points at end of season wins.
