Why the fuck is every one saying "lighten up" blah blah blah. I just think it's a bit cringeworthy and doesn't come across very good. Like I said, if they had done this then we would all have ripped them a new one.

Rickmcfc, think it was only me who said lighten up. Sorry if I hit a raw nerve but I personally wouldn't care if the quiet neighbours had it on their trams, I am just glad that our team have done it first. Better than that boring woman who usually makes the announcements. To be quite honest I try to ignore that lot anyway. If they come on TV I switch over, if they are on the radio I switch over. My team is City and that shower can jump in the canal for all I care.
So yes, I say lighten up, it is a bit of fun not the end of the world as we know it!! :-)

What is wrong with it? I think it's a nice touch, are some people just looking for things to be negative about?
I just think it's a bit shit. If the united players did voice overs for the trams at the swamp, we would all be ripping them to shreds and you know it.
