Yep played for us in the 60s signed from Wolves and only played for us 14 times.

Adebayor, he's flirting with Juve while not seeming to put an effort with us,

Stevie "egghead" Ireland, slagged us off and i remeber seing a picture of here of a pink SUV???

Roque, useless could be a good water boy though?

Steve McEnaman (SP?) woke at 5AM to catch the chelsea game and couldn't get enough of him bashing us, and now i learned he used to be a city player. Biased Git.

All the second rate Everton rejects that the Drunk Kendall brought to the Club. In particular Adrian Heath who somehow managed to keep Clive Allen out of the side. I never liked a Goalkeeper called Keith Mccrae; I took a dislike to Dabo for some reason. Ged Brannen was another.

The one that will shock some people is that I was never fond of Trevor Francis. Obviously I knew that he was a great player but as the title of the thread says I just couldn't take to him.

Nigel Clough - I once sat behind him in the Maine stand when he was out injured. He was reading the paper during the game

Ian Brightwell - I played football against the Brightwell boys at junior level and they were no better than the rest of the lads.

Cripes, that's a blast from the past. I think he played in the early sixties. Scored occasionally, as far as memory holds. Just checked me book - 1964-5 fourteen appearances and just the ONE goal. I must have seen that goal!

I've read all these posts and it's interesting that some people can't take to players I've not minded. Some were pretty useless but I must be a mug for giving players the benefit of the doubt and wanting them to be world beaters when they were, perhaps, only ever gonna be wife beaters! But one thing is clear - MCFC have had more than their fair share of shite!

My choice is Ben Thatcher, not for his 'challenge' on Mendes but I never thought. despite the shirt, he wasn't a blue!

Jamie Pollock, Gerry Crainey, Antoine Sibierski, Michael Frontzek, Simon Tracey (he took a bung in that 5-0 I'm sure of it). Peter Barnes after he'd played for the rags, Steve McMahon, Steve Macmanaman, Robbie Fowler, Kevin Langley
