What happened to Brown - sold to sheffield for not much if I remember rightly. He always looked good when I saw him 97,98'ish. I always thought his career would have been very different if he had been with us on the way up rather than the way down.

hes had a good career ... sheff u where he proved he was prem quality, then fulham and i think next he went where he is now wigan ... shouldn't have left us when he did, fell out with royle though.

Flood is a good call, I thought he was a good up and coming player as well. He did transfer to Celtic in the January transfer window.
