anyone know if there any City pubs in hazel grove lol might pop in if they're decent and i can get served lol, i know the biggest City pub around stockport is the crown but ive just come back from Woodley and dont perticuarly want to make the journey again

Griffin, Didsbury Road = the perfect City pub

It's more of a rag pub johnny

not when I'm in - seriously it's a shrine to City - the whole place is festooned with blue memorabilia

The Fiveways used to be more blues and The Rising Sun more reds, but might have changed.

I've recently moved to Hazel Grove from Whaley Bridge.
The best pub for City fans is undoubtedly the Bird in Hand.

Wherever you go in the manchester area there will be a few Rags around on Trafford matchdays , because they have f*ck all local support inside the Swamp its full of out of towners , irish ,cockernees , scandinavian day trippers carrying their superstore carrier bags , so their core local support are either sat in their armchairs or propping up bars in local boozers , telling tales of Best , Law and Charlton and Slurr Alex.

i know a few blues who practically live in the 3 Tonnes in the Grove. Lots of big screens and they show games.
