(Update: He scored the winning goal tonight, pure class: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.aftonbladet.se/webbtv/allsvenskan/kff/article5595205.ab" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.aftonbladet.se/webbtv/allsve ... 5595205.ab</a> (Video)

(Update 2: The scouts weren't there, they watched another game with Elm's advisor. Elm confirms City have contacted him though, see more at <a class="postlink-local" href="http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=134011&p=2288624#p2288624" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=10&t=134011&p=2288624#p2288624</a> )

The newspaper have talked to his agent and the chairman, his agent confirms:
We've talked to them about Rasmus, but there's no bid yet.
The club's chairman confirms:
Yes, that's correct. We've been asked about tickets from City, but we haven't talked further than that.
Agent again, saying:
City have to bid, then Rasmus got to decided what he want [many clubs interested]. Maybe that club is a bit too big to play in for a young Swede, if I may speculate.
The chairman also confirms Roy Hodgson is there:

The newspaper claim there's also people from Bayern Leverkusen, Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar.

This season:
17 matches, 3 assists, 9 goals
(League is started in spring so it's half-way)

Last season:
27 matches, 10 assists, 5 goals.
(Most assists in the league together with Henrik Larsson)

The chairman confirmed last week there has been two bids rejected, but that they were nowhere near the £6m English media reported Everton had bid. Today that newspaper say there were rejected bids from Everton, Fulham, Heerenveen and Valenciennes, and that they were nowhere close to his allegded £4.5m price tag.

He was huge in U-21 Euro's, and people say he's the biggest Swedish talent since Zlatan.

Re: City scouts watching Elm today

Looked class in the Under 21 championships. Our forward line seems a bit packed though. Elm as understudy to either Ade or RSC would have made sense. But not all 3.

He's not a striker, he would rather be an understudy to Ireland or Barry, or possibly Elano if he was here.

He's not really a striker though. would love us to get this guy, has always looked the part when i've watched him, some of the goals in that vid are stunning!

Re: City scouts watching Elm today

Ah my bad - got his name mixed up with Marcus Berg.

They were both class though :tu

Re: City scouts watching Elm today

he is a much much bigger talent than Delph, i think we rather get Elm.

the perfect replacement to Elano, he can pass, tackle, shoot, great at set pieces. AND hes already more professional than Elano.

trust me boys the team who get him never ever ever gonna regret it!! hes fuckin quality!

Re: City scouts watching Elm today

Attacking midfielder with an eye for goal then? Need some cover for Ireland, sounds like this guy's up to it.

Re: City scouts watching Elm today

Maybe the logical thing would be to buy this guy, who's played tons of senior matches and in the national team, and use him as Ireland backup. And buy Delph too and loan him back to Leeds.

It all makes sense, what Stu said about the medical team "being busy next week". Maybe this is the next step, buying some talent?

Re: City scouts watching Elm today

Delph and Elm would complement each other pretty well though.
