CITY: SHOWSEC, Atmosphere, & Blatant Bullying.

No, the ticket price freeze was because fans had had enough of continuous season ticket price rises. The fans couldn't stomach anymore season ticket price rises. The club admitted they had listened to the fans concerns, and had decided to freeze season ticket prices. While that gesture was welcomed by the fans, it went short of reducing season ticket prices that fans wanted.

And if you think back, City then brought in tiered priced blocks. Sitting one row in-front of another City fan can noiw cost you substantially more. Again, that was brought in to drive matchday revenue, and set off any seasin ticket price freeze. Of course it was brought in for the privilage of sitting closer to the pitch, wasn't it?

You said it was because of a minority but it wasn't. It was the feeling of the majority, not just within our club but generally.

So you have no idea why she was escorted out. I knew we would get there in the end.

Goodnight all.
She was escorted out because her husband, who looked to be in his sixties, was taken out and she went with him. There were quite a few others who were apparently members of the same family who also went out with him. I know someone who sits there and he said the whole area was standing up but they picked on this guy because he pointed out others around him were standing up and weren't being told to sit down. A load of police and ShowSec then appeared at the top of the block and went down to take him out. Happy now?

The club will be monitoring this site I have no doubt, or at least getting feedback from people on here. They are too astute not to, so they will now know we are not happy. This may be exactly what they want so they will do nothing about it. Selected people being thrown out instils fear and compliance. ''Bloody hell they have thrown that old lady out!!! If they can throw HER out I better watch my step!''

To @80's shorts do you think just because you haven't seen it, or missed the video evidence out there that it isn't happening? Also it isn't a tiny minority concerned about it, you hear people talking about it a lot, not just on this site. The club send mixed signals. They say they are trying to improve the atmosphere, players and the manager are openly waving arms and trying to do this, so fan's stand up and try and 10 showsec wankers are onto them. If we get one end where all the people who want to stand, be boisterous, turn up a bit worse for wear and low key stewarding then the atmosphere will improve. I have no idea how long you have been going to matches but just sitting there and watching a game wasn't the whole attraction there was a whole lot more went with it. Take those other aspects away and you might as well save a fortune, go and watch it in the pub or on a stream and have more of a laugh. The club can replace everyone of us who feels this way with a smiling 'Everything is wonderful drone' but if and when the shit hits the fan and we get a rocky spell again they will melt away like fucking snowflakes in the snow and we won't come back.

@Shirley, although I cannot endorse violence nothing would give me greater satisfaction than witnessing that! In the old days these hi vis bullies wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes...in fact not one of them would have taken the job in the first place!
