An absolute rock for us in a time when we definitely needed one. Gave his all for us whenever he played and player of the season four times in a row shows you that.

I remember when we signed Kolo Toure the difference in ability though. Dunne would make a tackle and clear the ball into row Z. Toure would make a tackle then have the composure to find a team mate with a pass. It was something I hadn't seen before from City defenders!

What a servant he was for us, seriously underrated player.

Anytime his name is mentioned I always remember the 0-0 against the dippers at The Etihad, Richard Dunne performance that day against Torres is one of the best individual displays I've seen at that stadium, he was UNBELIEVABLE.
