Whilst perusing the OS, I came across the list of (main global sponsors)

Now I remember when I changed from being a Chelsea fan, when we won the FA cup in 2011, the list of sponsors on the pre-Wix (very good, but Wix finally seems to be getting back to that level) OS was 2 very very short lines of names.

It's the football business these days, clearly, along with large dollops of TV money. Bums on seats, as proved by Covid, is secondary. :-(

I just find it remarkable that Abu Dhabi has control of so many of the world's leading brands these days... Surely the US would have blocked the takeover of Intel, Cisco & SAP by HRH Sheik Mansoor, on the grounds of national security.

But hey, what do I, a humble Chelsea outcast know about international finance... I can read so much more detailed analysis on RAWK and the cafe.

From memory most of the sponsors have been with us for years now, the only 'real' change being the switch to Puma

Didn’t even realise Cadbury were a partner. A free Flake on our return to The Etihad is the very least I’ll expect!

On The Cityzens part of the OS:
There's a 'Cityzen of the month' competition where you can nominate a blue who deserves a stack of chocolate.

I'm nominating Joel Glazer.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to give that a Twirl

Has anyone got any credible theories yet as to why City went into the ESL given that we're the Kings of football in the status quo.

Were we bounced in by fear of being left on the shelf or did we bowled them a yorker take their proposition out knowing it would fall?

No one seems to have had a decent go in the media at explaining what City were up to.

City must be one of the few clubs that in 2020-21 is going to keep its financial head above water whilst everyone else suffers. Some serious money must be due from winning the Premier League and getting to the latter stages of the Champions League
