I agree....I must be getting old, but all this walking around the ground with a drum and a megaphone singing city songs is Cringeworthy! Just To get a better atmosphere! Buy one get one free of a pint of beer would get a better atmosphere!

Like I say must be getting old and is mainly for the newer younger fans can't blame city for trying something different though!

Had a meeting up at City yesterday with Natalie and the rest of the guys who put it together and although I appreciate it isn't everybody’s cup of tea the club really are trying hard to create a good match day all round, from 1 1/2 hours or so before kickoff till an hour afterwards.....

There are some new ideas and for City Square (Including Miss Pike) which I think will work really well and overall the pre-game build up should make coming to City Square a must (although like I said it's not to everyone’s taste)

All I would ask though is to give Natalie and particularly me (lol) a bit of breathing space as I'll be getting involved in a lot more than last season and we all know I’m not exactly a polished performer....... Yet!! ;o)

Yeah mate, I can't believe my luck with all this City stuff it's completely surreal but I intend to just enjoy every second of it until they realise I am in fact an imposter!! lol

Yeah i'll still be shaking my nervous ass in Hyde for the EDS games as well! TBH I am looking forward to the NextGen series as much as I am the premier league....

Not quite City Square, but here's the main entrance for the Colin Bell stand, all done up.

Loads of little flags on the lampposts around the stadium with players on as well, example in the top right of the photo.

Was down this morning getting my Bolton ticket. Noticed a lot of the Blue paint on the floor at City Sq was peeling/crumbling/coming off, and where it's not it's all dirty as fuck. Looks very scruffy already!
