Not sure what else is going on yet but a mate of mines band are playing. He's an Everton fan (I know, I know) but he fucking hates united, even been to a couple of derbies with me cheering on city like the rest of us including the 4-1 when Sweep banged the last one in so let's hope the lad is a good luck charm for us on saturday.

The bands called Stolen Haven and they're on at 10 past 2 I think, they're a sound bunch of lads with some decent tunes and would be grateful for you're support. I think they're only playing their faster tunes on saturday to help us all get in the mood to smash Villa but here's some of their other tracks if you fancy a listen:

Local band bringing their brand of indie rock n roll swagger to City Square as part of the pre-match build-up to the clash with Aston Villa.

That’s just one reason why you should arrive early on Saturday to see if City can extend their unbeaten home record in the league to 36 matches when Aston Villa are the visitors.

Stolen Haven are comprised of Andy and Adam Brides, Tom Grainey and Jimmy Gardner and are a potent mix of big choruses and powerful chord progressions, the perfect mood setter for another colossal Premier League encounter.

Their current line-up came together at the start of 2012 and has progressed to play some of the North West’s best unsigned music venues, including Sound Control in Manchester and the Lomax in Liverpool and have already shared bills with musical luminaries such as Steve Cradock of Ocean Colour Scene fame and the Sunshine Underground.

Elsewhere on Saturday, there will be a City Kicks coaching session between 1pm and 2pm at the Tennis and Football Centre for your children to learn to play the City way.

Make sure you arrive early to set the tone for another memorable day of football and music at the Etihad Stadium.

Great idea this to have up and coming bands perform a few songs.
Watched The Quangos at the Swansea game and thought they were very good and will watch this Saturday if I can make it to the ground early enough.
