City Stadium Tours......

Went on the tour last Christmas, didn't book it or anything I don't think just arrived on up to the citystore and booked in about 2 hours in advance. The tour itself is very enjoyable now! Deffinetly recommend it

As I could not get a ticket for the Arsenal game ( not enough points on Citizen card) thought I would treat myself to a stadium tour in the close season.
At present when I try to book through Citizen membership, it appears as if all of June is blank. Does that mean you have to book a tour before end of May, or do they run through the summer ?
Also glad of any feedback as regards the tours...................thanks.
Not sure about the scheduling of tours in the close seaon but we went on one in August last year when we were in the UK. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience especially as we had our United brother-in-law with us and we let the tour guide know so there was plenty of banter.
Whatever you do don't buy anything from the shop before the tour as you get a discount of 10% after the tour.
Had photos taken in the players dressing room , the press table and the manager's 'dugout'. and I had a picture taken which was then printed with a player of my choice - David Silva!

It's ok
The legends tour is a waste of money, especially if you cop for Richard Edghill
There's nothing like gratuitously slagging off your own eh? Seem to remember he took and scored a penalty in a situation where a lot more attacking players did not, in a game that had a huge bearing on our future

I reckon it will be the concerts causing no bookings in June.

From the 2nd June, the stadium will essentially be a working concert venue until the 22nd ish of June.

Even though there are only 7 concert dates, they won't want people seeing the build and break stuff either side of a gig, which is normally a day or two's work for a big stadium gig.

I think he's just insinuating that he doesn't make him a good tour guide. Id hardly call that slagging him off.

Spoke with a guy from Office today, and he says that from now until the end of May most tours will be restricted, and with the Concerts being held in June, probably best to wait until the 24th of June, when full tours will be running again.

I think this thread may start going to the dogs as well, but at least it will keep us smiling for the summer.
By the way................for anybody else interested in the Stadium tours, use 01614387935, as it took me several numbers to get the right person who had all the info.
Slightly off topic, but am going to Wembley on Sunday to watch Hereford in the Non League Finals, and wondered if I will have any hassle getting in carrying a small rucksack, which security are more than welcome to search.
