Nike are paying for the complete refurb of the place, so you can expect plenty of ticks around.

I took my lad to run round the stadium last Monday as part of the Greater Manchester Games. As a reward for getting under a certain time I promised him something from the store. It was shut. Can you believe it? A captive audience of thousands of kids and the store was shut. They would have taken a fortune, probably enough to reduce the price increase in this year's season tickets!!!

remember, if you get a tick, you have to go the doctors to remove it. if you just pull it out you leave the head behind and can get a nasty infection.

city really havent thought this out.

Talking about the city store, towards the end of the season I noticed a lot of work going on towards the side of the store (Joe Mercer Way side)

Does anyone know what this was for?

I'm sure the lost revenue of the fun run featured highly when contract talks where taking place between city and Nike.
