my story ..... we got to milan on the weds looking forward to getting to our hotel with was appreantly 0.7 km from the center of milan ...goes to a taxi drive showed him address his reply " 90 euros " then told me its 27 km away!! ended up getting a differedt hotel 2 km away 70 quid each though ... went to game on the thurs 3 of my mates got jumped from behind by the shithouse juve fans i was the lucky one of the 4 and didnt get touched. was on the liverpool flight , sat on plane for 2 hours until eventually flight cancelled , at this point we had no money etc and coudlnt find cashline ....luckily some blues told us about the venice flight the following morning, me mate rang his sis and booked the flights at this point we had no idea how to get there etc as the other bluse got a minibus for 375 euros but places were filled and there was only 2 of us so no chance we could afford that ... when then met a group of blues called steve , adam, smithy , whitehouse(stubbsy) and bridgy(looked like wayne bridge lol), colin and kev ,told them about flight and they agreed to come with us , so headed bak th milan to internat cafe booked the flights for steve adam and smithy othere did there own...steve the saviour then paid for mine and my mates train tickets (33.euro each) and hotel in milan for the night (40 euro each) and said we could pay him back when get back to uk (absoulte legend considing hed only met us an hour earlier) went on piss with all the lads , got train to venice in the morn still didnt know wether flight would go ahead or not ...eventually got to venice still snow everywhere so thought the worst ...2 hr delay in venice but flight went ahead thankfully , theb again to our rescue steve etc had a taxi booked from liverpool now chnged to leeds and let us jump in with them home!!! pleasure to have met these lads and hope to have a beer again soon , got home 24 hours late but at least got bank in time for todays game ...and withouth the fear of being stranded!!
